Sweepstakes Rules

Go Terminal Limited, the operator of Rip Emporium, is responsible for promotions it offers under these rules. A promotion must identify its sponsor and contact details, including its mailing address, in the published Promotion Details. A third-party promotion is governed by the rules of its named sponsor.

Apple and Google are not sponsors of, and are not involved in any way with, any sweepstakes or prize promotions offered by Rip Emporium.

“Promotion Details” means the terms published for a specific sweepstakes: its name, sponsor, minimum age, eligible locations, start and end times with time zone, free entry instructions, entry limits, prizes and values, winner-selection process, odds or how they are determined, and prize-claim requirements.

These general rules and the applicable Promotion Details together form that promotion’s Official Rules. Entries may open only after complete Promotion Details and a working free entry method are available. Ordinary Pearl gameplay does not constitute sweepstakes participation.

You must be a legal adult, meet the promotion’s stated minimum age, and be legally eligible to participate. You must reside in and be physically present in a location expressly included in the Promotion Details at entry and whenever participation requires it. A location that is not listed as eligible is not included. Void where prohibited.

People involved in administering the promotion, and their immediate family and household members, are not eligible. Participate only for yourself through your own account. Do not use another identity or disguise your location to bypass eligibility checks.

Entry is free. No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win, and a purchase does not improve your chances of winning.

Use the no-purchase entry method described in the Promotion Details. Those instructions must explain the steps, any information required, how many entries are awarded, and the limits that apply. Free entries must have the same opportunity to win as equivalent entries received through any other permitted method.

Buying Pearls is optional and does not itself create an entry or a prize entitlement. Do not send payments, postal requests, or entry emails unless a published entry method expressly calls for the relevant free request. A support inquiry alone is not an entry. If entry instructions are missing or unavailable, contact support before participating.

Submit entries within the period and time zone shown in the Promotion Details. Any entry, account, or household limits must be disclosed before entry. The promotion’s designated receipt records determine when an entry was received, subject to review of a reported error.

Incomplete, late, duplicated, automated, or otherwise ineligible entries may be rejected under the published rules. Entries cannot be sold or transferred. Creating extra accounts does not increase your permitted entry limit.

The Promotion Details must explain how and when results are determined. For a random drawing, the chance of winning depends on the number of eligible entries and prizes unless a different method is expressly explained. For a game-based promotion, review its published game rules, prize table, and explanation of odds before using an entry.

An entry does not guarantee a win. Previous outcomes do not guarantee future results. Promotional entries and prize balances, if offered, are separate from non-redeemable Pearls and must be clearly identified.

Only the prizes described in the Promotion Details are offered. Those details must state the prize quantities or availability, values or calculation method, claim deadlines, redemption thresholds or limits, fulfillment methods, and expected processing times. There is no implied cash exchange rate for any virtual item or entry.

Follow the published claim process. A potential win remains subject to verification of the result and eligibility. An unclaimed or ineligible prize will be handled as the Promotion Details specify, subject to applicable law. Substitutions are allowed only where the published rules and law permit them.

No payment or purchase is required to release a prize. Winners are responsible for taxes legally payable by them, and we may make legally required tax reports or withholdings. Do not send money to anyone who claims that paying us is necessary to unlock a win.

We may need to confirm your identity, age, residence, account ownership, and information needed for prize delivery or tax reporting. Claims may be held while reasonable eligibility or fraud checks are completed. Any claim-response deadline must be stated in the Promotion Details or a notice consistent with those details.

Submit sensitive documents only through the secure process designated for the promotion. Do not email passwords, sign-in codes, identity documents, or full payment details. Information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy and any additional privacy notice provided for the promotion.

Cheating, collusion, forged information, unauthorized automation, multiple-account abuse, and exploitation of technical errors are prohibited. Affected entries or claims may be disqualified following review. Contact support if you believe a decision is incorrect.

Participate for recreation, not as a way to earn income. Stop or take a break whenever you need to. You can request help closing your account through our support page.

If fraud, a technical failure, or a legal requirement prevents fair operation, we may pause a promotion to investigate and, where permitted by law, modify or cancel it. We will publish notice and explain how valid entries and outstanding prizes will be handled. Any remedy must follow applicable law and preserve participants’ rights under the published Official Rules.

Updates to these general rules apply prospectively. They do not retroactively reduce a participant’s rights for an entry already accepted. Keep a copy of the Promotion Details that apply when you enter.

Our Terms of Service govern general use of Rip Emporium. For a promotion-specific conflict, its Promotion Details take precedence over these general rules, subject to applicable law. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights or available legal remedies.
